Интересно скорее серьезным бридерам ))))) Кто приобретает одну собачку - хоть для шоу, хоть для дивана - тем скурпулезные детали не столь важны и интересны - такие как длинна морды или пигментация и тд - ибо эти признаки закрепляются годами работы. Q. 1 How long have you kept Lhasa Apso?
A. I have had Lhasa Apso for 32 years and parents also used to keep Lhasa Apso.

Q. 2 Have you always breed Lhasa Apsos?
A. Yes, I always breed Lhasa Apso.

Q. 3 The Lhasa Apso is an ancient breed, Is it over 2000 or more Years old? Do you know it’s exact age?
A. It is true the Lhasa Apso is an ancient breed of dog. I do not know the actual date.

Q.4 Was it present in Tibet before the cult of Buddhism?
A. Yes, it was present before the cult of Buddhism in Tibet.

A. An ideal height of a Lhasa Apso is about 8”to 10” inches, The ideal weight of Lhasa Apso is 6 to 8 Kgs.

Q. 18 Can you tell us the ideal length of the muzzle (+ or - 4cm -1.5”inches)
(1 inches = 2,54cm) - nose included.
A. Length of muzzle should be 1.5” inches including nose.

Q. 19 Are the jaws level or undershot?

A. No Lhasa Apso should have well angled joints locks not parallel or straight.

Q. 24 Is the hair texture rough or silky?
A. Original Lhasa Apsos should have rough hair.

Q. 25 Is the undercoat dense ?
A. The undercoat is dense and heavy.

Q. 26 Must the coat touch the ground?
A. Yes, Lhasa Apsos should drag their coat on the ground.

Q. 27 Is the coat straight?
A. Yes, straight and heavy coats are desirable. Wavy coats are not preferred.

Q. 28 Can there be a kink in the end of the tail? Is it an asset?
A. A kink at the end of its tail is important in a good breed like Lhasa Apsos, without a kinked tail they cannot carry their tails, on their rumps.

Q. 29 What is the character of a Lhasa Apso? Is it wary of strangers?
A. The Lhasa Apso is obedient, faithful and loving towards its master and usually wary
of strangers.


Q. 30 Is it a strong dog?
A. It is strong enough to safeguard itself and protect its master.

Q. 31 What is the principal quality that you look for in good Lhasa Apsos ?
A. First of all, search for the shape, size and coat of an original Lhasa Apso. Then for
details such as Body shape, Size, Coat, Dome, Mouths, Muzzle, Teeth, Eyes, Ears, Nose, Legs, Tail, Pad, nail, head and tails are all important.

Q. 32 Can you describe to us the ideal Lhasa Apso, according to your criteria?
A. An original and ideal Lhasa Apso should be a miniature white snow lion.

Q.33 What are allowed faults?
A. Objectionable faults are short coat, large pink pigmentation and long muzzel.
